Common questions

What happens near the limits?

Can I refund a Steam game after two hours?

You are outside the standard “less than two hours” condition, but Valve says you can still submit a request and it will take a look. Explain the circumstances clearly; approval is not guaranteed.

Can I request a refund after 14 days?

Yes, you can still ask. The purchase is outside the standard two-week window, so Steam will review it individually rather than treating it as a standard request.

How quickly does Steam issue an approved refund?

Valve says a full refund is issued within one week of approval, either to the original supported payment method or to Steam Wallet funds.

Is this an official Steam tool?

No. This independent calculator does not connect to your Steam account and cannot predict Valve’s final decision.
